Starting from the port of Durres, we drive to the centre of the city, where we visit the famous Venetian Wall and the Amphitheater of the city of Durres, originally called Durrah, is one of the oldest cities in Albania, dating back to the Illyrian times. It was a very strategic port as well as an administrative, religious, economic, political and business centre on the shores of the Adriatic sea.
The Venetian Wall of the city was build in 15th century by the Venetians. It dates back to the time when the National Hero of Albania call “ SKENDERBEU” returned back to his country and protected Christianism against the Ottomans.
Further to our visit in Durres, we drive to Tirana, the capital city of Albania, to visit the National Museum of Albania, and the Gallery of Arts, followed by some free time for shopping in the centre of city.
